Hubby's 30th Birthday Dinner

So my husband finally caught up in the age department in early July, and we settled for a simple celebration with my family at a Western food place called "Secret of Louisiana".
I love their Cajun Chicken Cordon Bleu; extremely fattening but so much yums!

The restaurant is by a man-made lake, so I decided to keep most of my outfit casual, but with glam shoes, bag, and lips!

I picked up the two of the best beaded bags in gold and silver in my favourite thrift store, and this is one of them.
It can barely fit my stuff, but that's what the deep pockets on my shorts are for, haha!

If you follow me on Instagram, you'd know that the polka-dotted top is a not-too-long-ago thrift store acquisition!
I picked it because I love the amazing details: tiny yellow and dark blue polka dots, eyelet stripes, puffy sleeves, and dark blue back buttons at the back that I forgot to photograph.

The buttons also had cute anchor details, making this an adorable top for days on the yacht...

Vintage top: Nina Ricci (from a thrift store)
Shorts: From a thrift store
Flats: Chloé
Vintage purse: From a thrift store

STYLE TIP: Yellow and gold is always a sure-fire head-turning combination. If you fear looking too "attention-seeking", try pairing mustard yellow with matte gold for an equally chic look!
