Last-Minute Lunch

My parents told me about a really last minute lunch date with my cousin today, so I had to throw on the first outfit that I thought of and it had more pink than I'd normally be comfortable with.
But it's okay, because I was dying to use this amazing Andrea Mabiani pink python bucket bag that mom gave me, just the night before!

Dress: Old Navy  (from a thrift store)
Flats: Zara
Bag: Andrea Mabiani (from mom)
Vintage bracelet: Diane Love for Trifari

The magenta dress is such a blessing to my tummy, thanks to the tent-cutting.
Also, the bright colour is a wonderful distraction from my flabby arms!

Although my plain dress is the perfect backdrop for a wonderful necklace, I decided to forgo it for a simple black arm candy.
Sometimes, wearing an unexpected piece is all it takes to make an outfit!

If you've been following me, you'd know I'm obsessed with Diane Love's work for Trifari.
Her designs are insanely-cool but completely wearable, even for this day and age!

Here's a close-up on the vintage bracelet that I chose to go with my flats:

STYLING TIP: The marks used for Diane Love's Trifari collaborations are not consistent. Most are marked "Trifari", some are unmarked, while few like this bangle are marked "Diane Love".

While I work on my next outfit, I hope you guys are having a fabulous week filled with fantastic outfits!
Because life is truly too short for ugly clothes, right?!
